The Tower of London

A visit to the Tower of London was totally worth waking up early for! Of course, met with another damp London day, but I was very excited to visit where the sight where the Queen keeps her Crown Jewels!

Unfortunately I could not take any pictures of the jewels themselves, but it was well worth paying the 20 Pounds to get in!

It was quite neat to be walking down halls and staircases that the Kings and Queens of past used to walk in! This fort, the White Tower, has been erected since the Roman Empire, and had gone through numerous upgrades and rebuilds over the last 1900 years!

Today, the White Tower houses an exhibit displaying the fascinating history of knights and weaponry throughout the British History. Oh, and found my Knight in Shining Armour....

At night we went to dinner with a couple of friends, to a restaurant called Wagamama, which was a Japanese restaurant serving all sorts of different Western Spin on Japanese food. We then all went and  saw the musical of the movie Ghost!

A great night in London, and capped off with a cake and tea at a local French bakery on Regent Street.
